The raceway and the Washington Street brigde in Brandywine Park.
A shot of Center City from the 7th Street pennisula, an old industrial area on the city's far east side.  The area was once the city's dump.  Most of the area remains marshy and wild, however, there are efforts to redevelop the area into an industrial section of the city again.
Looking down the Viaduct, at Madison Street, toward Pennsylvania Station.
Looking down Water Street just east of West Street.  The tracks in the street are the remants of the Baltimore & Ohio's spur into the Wilmington waterfront and the B&O freight depot.  DelDOT had hoped to make these rails part of the steel wheeled trolley project, but it was shot down my the merchants on Market Street.  A trolley "skinned" bus now makes the route.
A southbound NorthEast Direct and the tail of an unidentified northbound pause at Pennsylvania Station during the evening rush.  The Christina Landing project townhouses and apartment tower can be seen in the background.
The Kalmar Nyckel moored at Tubman Park in late summer 2004.
A closer look.
A signal gantry on the NorthEast Corridor.
The small, and very little known "The Rocks" park on the 7th Street penninsula.
The column celebrating the Swedish landing at "The Rocks."  This was the first Swedish settlement in Delaware, which was followed closely by Lewes (then called Zwaanendale "land of the Swans"), in the early 17th century.  The Kalmar Nyckle's shipyard is adjecent to the park.
The Brandywine Building.
The Christina Gateway complex and New Castle County courthouse from the riverwalk along the Christina.
