Address:  Wilmington, DE
Wilmington, Delaware  is the largest municipality in Delaware and is an important employment center in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Wilmington's population peaked in the 1920's at approximately 120,000, but currently only 72,051 citizens reside within the 28 square kilometers of Wilmington's municipal limits.  However, during the work day Wilmington's population surpasses 145,000.  Wilmington is the central city of the Wilmington-Newark metropolitan area with a population of 515,074.  There is a fair amount of architecturally interesting structures in this old northeastern city, but unfortunately many have been lost.  This site was developed to try to catalogue some of the most interesting structures, and also highlight the renewal that is currently taking hold in the city.
